ADAM HAMBURG

PRESIDENT / COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST

Adam Hamburg is the President of Eco Vita, bringing over 21 years of experience as an Environmental Scientist and Compliance Specialist across the United States. His expertise spans a comprehensive array of environmental compliance and permitting processes, including the Clean Water Act, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the Greater Sage-Grouse Nevada Conservation Credit System, and Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Section 3809 Surface Mining regulations. Adam has a proven track record of securing regulatory permits and effectively working with federal, state, and local agencies. 

His field experience includes botanical and wildlife surveys, with a focus on protected species. Specializing in the flora of the Mojave, Great Basin, Sonoran deserts, and the Sierra Nevada, Adam is recognized as a BLM approved botanist. Mr. Hamburg is also a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and California Department of Fish and Wildlife approved desert tortoise biologist and is approved by USFWS to conduct advanced desert tortoise health examinations and translocations. When his schedule allows, he still prefers to be on the project walking the miles.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Adam is passionate about guitar, rock climbing, backcountry skiing, whitewater rafting, and camping with his family.
