Mojave Desert Tortoise Compliance

We specialize in ensuring the compliance and protection of the federally threatened Mojave desert tortoise. We have a long history of coordinating with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Bureau of Land Managemen (BLM) and other agencies to ensure compliance with the Endangered Species Act. Our team provides expertise through presence/ absence surveys, clearance surveys, tracking with transmitters, development of translocation plans, health examinations and studies for translocation, post translocation monitoring, and assisting with development and implementation of mitigation measures.
